Ionic pollution trapping
|
Hydroxyl Cascade |
A micro-fan draws air into the device and the air is saturated by negative air ions. These ions attach themselves to particles of pollution, such as viruses and bacteria, dangerous ultra-fine particulates, pollens and moulds.
The negatively-charged particles are then passed over a positively-charged 'sink', which effectively traps the pollution within a disposable cartridge. The sink is sanitised by UV light and hydroxyls, which kill bacteria and viruses, before the cartridge is removed and replaced. |
Using technology first developed by NASA, the Airora Personal introduces hydroxyls (nature's natural anti-microbial air sanitiser) into the air stream. The hydroxyls also react with the trace levels of plant oil it emits and with ozone in polluted air to produce even more hydroxyls in a continuous cleansing 'cascade'.
Together, these ingredients clean the air within the purifier and also in the output air stream, destroying viruses and bacteria, capturing particulates and reducing the level of ozone and gaseous pollutants, creating a continuous stream of safer, cleaner air for you to breathe. |
Our Professional products are optimised to efficiently achieve maximum microbial decontamination within occupied indoor spaces of all sizes from small to very large! Discover Airora Professional > |
