​​16/10/2020 - The first Airora Professional air and surface decontaminators have been manufactured and are destined for four NHS Hospitals!
​​An initial run of the Airora Professional has been manufactured for NHS trials of the technology, being managed by Airora channel partner, Althea UK & Ireland. Trials are commencing this week in two leading UK hospitals followed by another two at the beginning of November.

​The devices will be going into three to four selected wards in each of the hospitals, including inpatient surgery, outpatient surgery, spinal injury and waiting rooms. The outcomes of the hospital pilots are expected in mid-November.  ​

14/10/2020 - Initial manufacturing samples of the Airora Personal have been sent for microbiological testing.

​Sample Airora Personal devices have been sent to a laboratory for micro-biological testing.

The laboratory is recognised for its expertise in hydroxyl radical chemistry and will be testing the the Airora Personal devices for their efficacy in killing airborne human pathogens, including COVID-19.

Results are expected to be available during November.
​7/10/2020 - The Airora Professional has achieved CE marking in the run up to it becoming commercially available.
The Airora Professional has successfully completed its compliance testing to be awarded CE Marking as required under EU law. Testing included ensuring compliance with EMC requirements. 
20/09/2020 - The UK's Building Research Laboratory (BRE) confirms that the Airora Professional exceeds all Indoor Air Quality safety standards by a wide margin.
The UK Building Research Laboratory, Indoor Air Quality Laboratory, under Dr Andy Dengle, has undertaken detailed analysis of the Airora Professional's outputs and confirmed that the device exceeds all Indoor Air Quality safety standards by a wide margin. Testing covered all potentially harmful aspects of its emissions, including the trace levels of ozone, and its effects on VOC levels, such as formaldehyde, so as to ensure its safety in use.
